Why I Stopped Using Store-Bought Soap (and What the Goats Had to Do With It)
Let’s be honest—I didn’t grow up dreaming about making goat milk soap from scratch.
But after years of dry, itchy, unpredictable skin (and zero success with store-bought "sensitive" brands), I needed something different.
And, as it turns out, the solution was standing in my barn.
🐐 The Milk Makers of the Farm
Our Nigerian Dwarf goats are the heart of Double CF Farm. Their fresh, raw milk is what makes every bar of soap and every jar of lotion so gentle and effective.
Goat milk is packed with nourishing fats, lactic acid, and vitamins—ingredients that naturally exfoliate and soothe the skin without stripping it.
When you use my soap, you’re not just cleansing. You’re giving your skin a chance to heal.

💪 The Muscle Behind the Milk
While the girls do the milking, there's a strong (and sometimes ornery) team of bucks behind the scenes making sure we continue strong, healthy milk lines for the future.
And we just added a new face to the lineup:
🌊 LD Ranch GR Ridin the Wave
He’s full of promise, personality, and powerhouse genetics.
We’re thrilled about what he’ll bring to the herd—and eventually, to your skincare.

✨ Why I Ditched Store-Bought Soap
The short version? It wasn’t working.
No matter what I tried, my skin was irritated, dry, and dull. Switching to goat milk soap—handmade with herbal-infused oils, tallow, and no fillers—was the reset my skin needed.
And I’m not the only one.
💬 One customer told me:
“I switched to your soap and the itching STOPPED.”
That’s what this farm is about.
💛 If You're Ready to Try Something Real:
Here are my daily staples:
Simply Turmeric Oat Soap – so gentle, I use it on my face every morning
Tallow & Rosehip Face Cream – deep moisture without the grease
Farm-to-Skin Sampler – every soap I make, in one easy bundle
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by skincare and tired of labels you can’t pronounce—maybe it’s time to try something made with love… and a little help from the goats.
