My Simple Morning Skin Routine (That Actually Works)

Let’s be honest—some nights I barely manage to wash my face. 😅
But my morning routine? That one I’ve got down.
Every day on the farm starts with feeding animals, milking goats, and making sure orders are going out. But before any of that happens… I give my skin a little love.
And it doesn’t take a million steps or fancy bottles. Just a few good ingredients that do what they’re supposed to.
🧼 Step 1: Cleanse with Simply Turmeric Oat Soap
This is my go-to face wash every single morning.
Made with goat milk, turmeric, and oats—it's gentle enough for daily use and helps keep my skin calm, soft, and not screaming at me when I step outside.
Why turmeric? It’s known for reducing redness and calming inflammation.
Why goat milk? It’s rich, nourishing, and naturally exfoliating.
My skin just feels… clean. Not dry. Not tight. Just clean.
💧 Step 2: Micellar Cleansing Water (Because I’m Human)
Let’s be real. I’m not always the best about washing off my mascara at night.
So in the morning, I use a little micellar water on a cotton round to clean up anything I missed. No shame here—just honesty.
🌿 Step 3: Jojoba & Rosehip Roller
Next, I grab my Jojoba & Rosehip oil roller and apply it around my eyes, forehead, and anywhere I’m seeing wrinkles start to peek through.
This combo is like skin food:
Jojoba mimics your skin’s natural oils
Rosehip is full of antioxidants + Vitamin A (aka glow in a bottle)
It soaks in quickly and keeps those dry, tired areas from looking dull or crepey.
🌱 Step 4: Castor + Rosemary Oil for Lashes & Brows
Yep—I use a tiny bit of castor oil with rosemary and brush it right onto my lashes and eyebrows.
I’ve seen a huge difference since adding this—thicker brows, longer lashes, and way less breakage.
Cheap. Natural. Effective. Win-win-win.
🧴 Step 5: Tallow & Rosehip Face Cream
Last step before I do anything else is my handmade face cream.
Made with grass-fed tallow, rosehip oil, and just a touch of essential oil—it locks in moisture without feeling greasy.
I let it sit while I drink my coffee or prep for the day. That way, when I put makeup on, it’s already soaked in and I’m not a shiny mess.
